How Does Hail Damage My Roof?

Hail can cause small pings and dings in metal roofing and can even cause damage to gutters and asphalt shingles. Larger hailstones (as shown below) can cause enough damage to puncture a roof. The age and condition of your roof coupled with the size and density of the hailstones will determine the damage your roof sustains.

How Do I Know If It Is Damaged?

Damage isn't always easy to spot from the ground but an outside and inside visual checklist that we posted can help you assess potential damage. Still aren't sure? We pride ourselves on quality service at a fair price and we never charge to professionally assess your roof for potential damage. At Herring Residential, we will walk you through assessing damage, the insurance claims process, and your quality repair or replacement.
